Caracas/Comunicaciones FBV/Jabeando/Deportivas/31-05-2018.- El entrenador Fernando Duró dio a conocer una lista de 27 jugadores elegibles con miras a la disputa de la tercera ventana de los Clasificatorios al Mundial de China 2019, en la que Venezuela recibirá a Brasil, el próximo 29 de junio en Parque Miranda, y luego visitará a Chile el 2 de julio.
La gran novedad es el regreso del alero Luis Bethelmy, que en 2016 había decidido dar un paso al costado con la selección nacional; sin embargo, decidió volver a colocarse la camiseta vinotinto.
Desde su nombramiento como coach del combinado nacional en 2017, Duró, quien dirige a Bethelmy en Guaros de Lara, se ha mantenido en constante comunicación con el jugador.
